CMS Peripherals
Evogenic has in the last 18 months assisted CMS Peripherals with massive system changes which helped them to achieve their objective in having a single distribution centre for both UK and Ireland and transferring the ownership of stock from UK to Ireland.
CMS initially contracted evogenic to support an existing system. According to Bernadine Phenna, IS Project Manager, “We now rely on evogenic to develop and enhance our current ERP system to support our constantly evolving business processes. They never contemplate saying 'no' or claiming that things are not possible. However complex our business processes become or how much we demand from the ERP system then evogenic will find and deliver a solution. It is also key to the relationship that evogenic are extremely commercially aware and deliver solutions that users can actually use and meet the requirements of our own customers.

evogenic's development since September 2007 has had a massive impact on the CMS business. They have been able to reduce distribution & logistic costs, reduce headcount and improve profitability. The IT team is also supporting fewer users and by using evogenic they are less reliant on their own in-house development team to deliver & support applications.

Covenco have worked with Steve & Julian from evogenic for over 6 years. The ERP system is vital to Covenco, as it runs the whole of their financial accounting and reporting which they use to manage their business. It drives their entire product process from the minute they buy something in the Purchase Order Process module, then manages the stock receipt and finally, when they sell the item in the Sales Order Processing module, guides them through the picking and packing process. All the data is recorded and flows through to the main ledger, enabling business reporting across the whole business, as well as efficiencies of each business process.
According to Mark “the benefits of the product are enormous, its fully integrated, and very configurable so we can tailor the look, feel and functionality exactly to suit our business. As well as this it is easy to use and required very little training to get started”
The relationship with evogenic has evolved into a partnership, that is a two way process. Covenco feed in development ideas for the solution based on their experience of it, and these adjustments are often made to their solutions. Sometimes these developments even end up being made to the base product, benefitting all users.

Into Lighting
Into Lighting is an established business offering professional lighting design and consultancy to businesses across retail, leisure, architectural and general commercial sectors. They have been trading over 30 years and feature clients such as Porsche, Levi’s, Ted Baker, Sheraton, De Vere, and Marriot Hotel groups, to name a few.
Into Lighting were introduced to evogenic by recommendation after two failed implementations by other ERP suppliers.
Robert Crow of Into Lighting explains “To be honest, our expectation with evogenic was low, given the failing with the two previous ERP systems, as we had developed a serious mistrust of software sales people. We badly needed a good ERP system to assist in the business and especially in a stock control system integrated to our sales. Our mood changed with evogenic shortly into the implementation process; we had found a supplier that exceeded our expectations and their own promises, and were reliable friendly, and just nice to deal with.
As soon as the system was implemented we gained greater stock control, more efficient ordering, clearer documentation, and easy access to sales information.
